A deposit of $500 USD is required to reserve your spot (we accept PayPal credit). 50% of the remaining balance is due end of November and the remaining balance in due six weeks before the retreat.

Meet Your Hosts

Sisters by blood and dreamers by nature, Brittany Joy and Michele Marie created Joy et Mare as a sanctuary for women to shed the noise, awaken their inner fire, and remember what it feels like to be fully alive.

With a shared love of travel, storytelling, and stepping beyond their comfort zones, they dreamed up Joy et Mare to hold space for women from all walks of life to reconnect with themselves, with each other, and with something deeper.

Brittany Joy

Brittany is a yoga teacher with a passion for helping women reconnect to their bodies, breath, and sense of belonging. Her practice took shape after discovering aerial yoga at 22, a playful, upside-down entry point that softened self-judgment and sparked self-love. From there, she followed her curiosity across countries, styles, and teachings, always returning to what felt real.

In her classes and retreats, Brittany weaves movement and mindfulness, into accessible, soul-nourishing spaces. Whether leading a forest meditation or teaching vinyasa by the sea, she meets each moment with grounded presence, gentle encouragement, and a deep belief in the wild wonder we all carry within.

Michele Marie

Michele is an award-winning photographer and empowerment coach with a gift for seeing and celebrating the truest, most powerful version of every woman she meets. What began with a camera in hand and a vision to create bold, intimate portraits has evolved into a body of work that spans continents.

With her signature blend of artistry and encouragement, Michele helps women reclaim the way they see themselves - raw, radiant, and real. Her work is not just about taking a photo; it’s about creating a moment of deep remembering. Each session is a sacred collaboration, grounded in trust and guided by presence. She brings this same energy to every retreat - camera in hand, heart wide open.
